Morrone's pet expertise led to guest appearances on the News 12 local cable station program, The Family Pet. Later, he started his own cable show in 1995, Extra Help Pet Show, which was renamed to Metro Pets. Morrone's television career landed him several guest appearances on the Martha Stewart Living show where she gave him the moniker of "pet keeper." In 2001, he starred in his own show "The Pet Shop With Marc Morrone" and in 2003, was given his own show, Petkeeping with Marc Morrone by Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. This show was filmed on location at his pet store.
